School licenses & purchasing
School volume subscriptions are not available yet. Apple has announced that Volume Purchasing launches on October 22, 2026. Contact us to discuss your rollout and confirm SpeakPad availability. Read Apple’s announcement
We’re planning annual Pro licenses through Apple School Manager and Apple Business. Pricing and volume discounts are still being finalized. Ask us about your device count, budget and renewal requirements before arranging a purchase.
Planning example: 10 classroom iPads
Under the planned device-based model, 10 iPads using Pro would need 10 licenses, covering every profile on those devices. Students can use SpeakPad Free without a Pro license.

Shared classroom iPads
Several students can use one iPad, each with their own boards, voice, settings and usage data. Two profiles are free; Pro lets staff create more. Staff switch profiles behind the caregiver gate. These are profiles within SpeakPad, separate from Apple’s Shared iPad accounts.
When a student moves on
A student’s words belong to them. Export their profile as a .speakpad file and it can be restored on a family iPad or at their next school, with every board, photo and setting intact. Exporting is free and needs no seat. If a device loses its seat or your seats lapse, every board and profile already on the device keeps working.
Privacy for your school
Students don’t need accounts, and there’s nothing to sign up for. SpeakPad does not collect, sell, or share personal data. Boards, photos and usage data stay on the iPad unless a staff member chooses to back them up to an iCloud account. Privacy Policy
